They have a uniform beaded edge for forming a perfect painting support. The notched edges fit all brands that conform to the standard dimensions of 1-5/8 inch wide and 3/4 inch deep. We recommend use of our Standard design stretcher bars cross braces for stretcher strips over 30", to maintain frame strength. The cross braces are sold only with stretcher strip orders. If you make an order and need braces,please let us know the overall frame size, and we will suggest specifications for braces.
