The Economy design stretcher bars are filling at the price. it was the cheap wooden bars but the quantity are good. They are made of first quality precision-cut kiln dried fir wood. They have a uniform beaded edge for forming a perfect painting support. They can use tongue & groove corner joints or connect by a special agglutinant and "V" nail. We recommend use of our economy design stretcher bars cross braces for stretcher strips over 24 ", to maintain frame strength. The Cheap Stretcher Bars cross braces are sold only with stretcher strip orders. If you make an order and need strips bars braces, please let us know the overall frame size, and we will suggest specifications for braces.
This style Economy stretcher bars was packing at 70 pieces per carton. the stretcher cross braces was 60 pieces per carton.

For bars over 30", standard and professional cross braces are recommended for greater strength and stability. The cross braces price are the same as the size of the stretcher bar to which each brace corresponds. We can also custom build the bars to fit metric measurements or unique sizes.
